The development of Chinese acrobatics from folk custom to the court and from the court back to folk custom, including wonderful perfomances in Wuqiao, the cradle of Chinese acrobatics, will thrill viewers of all ages. The acrobatic skills of lion dancers is also showcased, with special emphasis on the difference in Lion Dance styles in north and south China. Chinese Lion Dance is a particular art form typical of Chinese culture. There are no lions living in China, but lion culture and lion dance are wide spread. This documentary focuses on introducing the skills and different Chinese lion dances. Chinese lion dance in the south is reserved and delicate, while it is majestic in the north.
