His lessons of inner development and comments on daily life will be of particular interest to both t'ai chi adherents and those interested in Chinese culture. Subjects range from health, education and learning, to science, nature and relationships with other people. Accompanying each chapter is a verse culled from the poems of the Professor, or a passage from his Analects Commentary (based on one of the great Confucian books), or excerpts from talks Cheng has given in Taipei and New York.
