The Good Morning series is designed to improve the Chinese language reading skills of young, beginning level learners. The stories are told using colorful illustrations and large type for easy reading. Initials, finals and tones are introduced to help students recognize Pinyon and imitate pronunciation. The elementary level has 20 books and introduces 100 words with simple stories, rhymes, games and more. Each of the four sets is comprised of five books and one DVD, which features all of the stories.
