A group of monkeys see the moon in a well and think that the moon is trapped down there. They try to save the moon, only to find out that the moon is still in the sky. What they saw in the well was the moon’s reflection. The story shows the importance of careful observation, and not jumping to hasty judgment based on assumptions.
