CHINA BOOKS began life in a small upstairs office in Melbourne’s Chinatown precinct in August 1989. Our Learning Chinese section at the time barely took up one shelf. Over the years, along with the growth of interest in China and Chinese language, CHINA BOOKS expanded its range to include several thousand titles and is now the primary importer and distributor of Chinese learning books in Australia.

Similarly, CHINA BOOKS has been at the forefront of the rapid growth in the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture industry. With the increasingly popular medicine being used by more and more Australians, we have now become one of the major suppliers of Chinese Medicine textbooks, needles, herbal medicines, and supplies. Our range of Chinese Medicine texts is one of the most extensive in the world.

CHINA BOOKS is known to provide high quality Chinese Medicine educational seminars and workshops in Australia.
